Information we collect

Volunteer forms collect contact details, category, selected shift, consent, and relevant experience. Youth applications also collect age and, for minors, parent or guardian contact details and permission. Outreach and contact forms collect the details you submit.

How information is used

We use your information to coordinate volunteering, review outreach requests, respond to messages, and verify healthcare credentials where appropriate. We do not sell your personal information. Approved administrators can access records for these purposes.

Youth privacy and permissions

Youth identities, ages, and contact information never appear in public volunteer lists. Participation by volunteers under 18 requires guardian permission and appropriate supervision. This release accepts youth ages 13–25; volunteers under 13 should have a guardian contact the organization rather than use the form. Event-specific eligibility remains subject to review.

Public volunteer lists

Only consenting adult and healthcare volunteers may appear as first name and last initial. The youth category is never displayed publicly, including volunteers aged 18 or older.

Service providers and security

When activated, Supabase stores records and provides administrator authentication, Vercel hosts the site, Resend processes transactional emails, and Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse. Private records are subject to database access policies and server authorization. Management links are private bearer credentials: keep them secure.

Retention and deletion

Our proposed retention schedule is 12 months after an event or inquiry is completed, unless a shorter period is requested or a legitimate obligation requires more. Guardian details follow the related registration. Administrative review and deletion procedures must be activated before accepting live records. Rate-limit records should be purged after expiry and sent email content after 30 days.

Your choices

Request access, correction, withdrawal of public listing consent, or deletion by emailing pulsehealthinitiative@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before acting. You can change shifts or cancel using the private management link supplied with registration.

No patient medical information

Do not submit medical histories, diagnoses, treatment details, or other protected patient health information. This website does not provide medical advice or emergency services.
